PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — Another law firm is calling on anyone that believes they were a victim of the runaway barges from the contractor of the Three Mile Bridge, Skanska USA.

The law firm Aylstock, Witkin, Kreitz and Overholtz in downtown Pensacola says it’s already been in contact with people, including businesses that believe they have faced harm from the damage the Skanska barges have caused.

The 22 runaway barges operated by Skanska USA have wound up across the Pensacola and Escambia Bays, leaving behind a trail of damage from the partially crumbling Three Mile Bridge and washing ashore into people’s backyards and along railroad tracks.

“There’s no doubt that this is an extreme example of a company failing to take precautions and being considerate of our community,” said Nathan Bess, Partner at Aylstock, Witkin, Kreitz and Overholtz.
